Expired (1972) Plus-X Film - Negatives by KBeezie Expired (1972) Plus-X Film - Negatives by KBeezie

:iconmyartismine:

I have a 100 feet of Kodak Plus-X 35mm film that expired in 1972, so earlier today I ran off a roll of about 24 frames to see if it was still viable.

The film was originally ISO 125, but I exposed for ISO 50, looking at all the frames of the negative, I might have to aim for ISO 25 to get the best results.

Developed in Microphen 1:1 for 10.5 minutes (25% longer than normal times) at 68F.

So this is a simple picture of the raw negatives under glass to flatten it to see the relative overall exposure of the test. I might have to go down to ISO 25 for the best result with the developer combination I came up with.
