Description
For the first time in like 8 months I've de-inked my Montblanc to give it a clean down (now that I have an ultrasonic), and to grease up the piston a little bit (was a little tight), it was also the first time I went ahead and disassembled the rear portion of the pen. Still can't remove the nib, but no need to.
But since I got it all cleaned up and de-inked and all that, figured it would be a good time to get a fresh full-body picture of it (past pics were only centrated around the nib/cap).
Since I got some polishing stuff coming soon (mainly the carnauba wax), I'm thinking bout putting a coat of that on mainly the barrel portion add up a shine and give it a little bit of a protective layer.
The hard part is deciding if I want to put Noodler's Black Eel in to it (an ink I've used in it since the day I got it), or be adventurous with something else (preferably water resistant).
